WHAT IS STEM CLUB?
Charger Robotics hosts free 5-week programs to expose youth in the Kent School District to STEM. Several team members meet with 10-40 students on a weekly basis, for five weeks. The first four weeks include unique STEM challenges such as popsicle stick bridges, spaghetti towers, and bottle rockets. The fifth week is a robot demonstration and introduction to FIRST. STEM Club is designed to build early STEM skills such as teamwork, design, and the basic engineering process.
